Sunday in the Park with George

​In 2007, Australia's first professional production of Stephen Sondheim's musical, Sunday in the Park with George, in its entirety, was staged at the Q Theatre in Penrith. The production was directed, designed and produced by David Hollywood and starred Tyran Parke as George and Amie McKenna as Dot. Musical Direction was by Greg Crease. Costumes were designed by Joshua Mason. The production was nominated for two Sydney Theatre Awards in that year.

On a large white canvas multiple projectors created a seamless panorama of animation, illustrating the creation of Seurat's masterpiece, Sunday on the Island of la grande jatte. The images presented here pay tribute to the outstanding creative talents of cast and crew of that production.
